J&D Cowper Limited was established in 1984 specialising in the collection and distribution of chilled and frozen products, and we continue to do so today.

We have successfully grown from humble beginnings to become one of the major refrigeration haulage companies in the North of Scotland.

Continuous growth means we currently operate a fleet of over 20 trucks which are replaced on a constantly rolling three -year basis.

Over the years, we have developed a transport operation to and from the Highlands, which provides a vital link in the delivery chain taking goods from processing factories in the Highlands to regional distribution centres throughout the UK.

Fully accredited to BRCGS standards for storage and distribution your produce will be safe with us.

In 2012 we saw an opportunity to provide a cold storage facility in the Highlands designed to cater for local food production companies and in March 2013 we moved into the cold storage sector by converting one of our existing buildings into a 300 pallet capacity store.

Since that time we have opened a second cold store increasing our capacity to over 800 pallets providing customers in the area an essential and valued service for storing there frozen goods in a fully accredited facility which also includes the only commercial blast freezer in the Highlands area.

In more recent years we have been providing for our customers a maintenance and repair service including roadside breakdown assistance, our HGV Commercial workshop is fast becoming an exciting new venture for us.
